Thunderbird

To use Thunderbird with your SOGo server, first create a profile that matches your SOGo account; the username and password must be the same that you use to login to SOGo. The second step is to install the SOGo Integrator extension.

Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013

To configure Outlook:

  1. Open the Control Panel => Mail => Email Accounts.
  2. Select Add a new e-mail account
  3. Choose Microsoft Exchange Server
  4. Fill the required information. Enter 208.80.0.154 in the Microsoft Exchange Server field
  5. Leave the Use Cached Exchange Mode checkbox enabled
  6. Enter your username in the User Name field. You can use the sogo1, sogo2 or sogo3 accounts
  7. Click on More Settings and ignore the warning, if any, about Exchange being offline by clicking on Cancel
  8. From the Security tab, enable Always prompt for user name and password
  9. Finally, click on Check Name and confirm your username and password

Apple iCal

To configure it so it works with SOGo, create a new account of type CalDAV and specify, as the Server address, the following URL, replacing <username> by your username :

http://208.80.0.154/SOGo/dav/<username>/

Note that the trailing slash is important for Apple iCal 3.

Apple Address Book

To configure it so it works with SOGo, create a new account of type CardDAV and specify, as the Server address, the following IP address :

208.80.0.154

Mobile Devices

Apple iOS Calendars

From the Settings application, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Under the Calendars section, set Sync to All Events since other sync settings (Events 2 Weeks Back, etc.) are not supported right now.

Go back to Mail, Contacts, Calendars and choose Add Account... then Other. Choose Add CalDAV Account and specify the following URL as the Server, replacing <username> by your username :

http://208.80.0.154/SOGo/dav/<username>/

Apple iOS Contacts

From the Settings application, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then choose Add Account... and Other. Finally, choose Add CardDAV Account. Specify your username and password, and as the Server, the following IP address :

208.80.0.154

Microsoft ActiveSync-capable devices

SOGo supports two-way synchronization support with any EAS-capable devices (Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Outlook 2013, etc.). Specify the following server URL in your ActiveSync client :
